The mission of the program is to improve the safety and quality of life of the children and families residing in MCI's Impact Zone.

Switchboard of Miami, Inc. - $40,000.00
This collaborative community awareness program will create awareness and inspire action around child trafficking in Miami.


Americans for Immigrant Justice - $50,000.00
A Women’s Legal Project that serves victims of domestic violence, stalking, sexual assault, trafficking, and other abuse.  

Family Resource Center of South Florida - $50,000.00
Provides children who are removed from abusive parents and placed in foster care with an assessment to evaluate their emotional, behavioral and mental health needs.  

Lawyers for Children America$25,000.00
Provides assistance to children who have been abused, neglected, and abandoned and placed in foster care.

Miami Bridge Youth and Family Services, Inc. - $40,000.00
Provides emergency shelter to homeless youth victims of crime.

Mujeres Unidas en Justicia, Education y Reforma, Inc. - $48,676.00 
Provides comprehensive services to adults and children who suffer from domestic violence and/or sexual assault. 

Lotus House Women's Shelter - $48,818.00 
Provides shelter in a shared community, meals, clothing, help accessing benefits and wrap-around supportive services to victims of crime. 

Victim Response, Inc./The Lodge $50,000.00
Provide continued Direct Relief Funds to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and other victims of crime and their family members, and to enhance victim assistance in the VRI transitional housing program. 

VIDA Legal Assistance$50,000.00
Provides free legal representation to immigrant survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, and other abuse. 


Cuban American Bar Association Pro Bono Project, Inc. – $50,000.00 
Program assists victims of human trafficking by providing the free legal representation that they need to distance themselves from the perpetrator.


Communities In Schools of Miami, Inc. $40,000.00
The program works in partnership with M-DCPS and the City of North Miami Police Department to help these youth maintain academic and attendance good standing.

Gang Alternative - $28,127.00
Provides evidence-based best practices of Aggression Replacement Training (ART), and select LifeSkills Training curriculum to 64 inner-city, at-risk minority youth ages 12-18 in the area of Little Haiti.
