For more than 45 years, our Fundholders' generous contributions have enabled us to mold Miami's brilliant future through grantmaking. We have granted more than $190 million in our history to foster a better quality of life for all Miamians.
Through this signature grant program, the Foundation honors more than 100 donors who created permanently endowed funds with the Foundation. We use the 2014 Our Miami Report in tandem with our Fundholders’ intent to connect their philanthropic legacies with issues currently impacting our community’s quality of life.
We are currently accepting pre-proposals for the 2016 Community Grants program. Pre-proposals are due by Thursday, February 18 at 4 p.m.

Denise Moon Memorial Fund
Denise Moon grants allow us to help nonprofits assist victims of crime, reduce crime in communities and provide alternatives to criminal activity through job training, educational attainment and other efforts. These grant awards are made possible thanks to a partnership with the Miami-Dade Office of the State Attorney, 11th Judicial Circuit.
